Listening to: Heartless (Cover) - The Fray
Haha I do apologise for the absence of updates. I guess those of you who said my blog wouldn’t last, should’ve put their money on it. Getting slack already. Its been a busy week, I'll tell you that much. Weather’s been pretty shithouse too. It’s grey and rainy and quite frankly just miserable really. But some people get off on this weather lol. The seasons skipped autumn and just jumped straight to winter this year, fkn leaves should be turning golden right now, great photo opportunities missed.
Went to Chadstone on Friday night, just window shopping really, checking out the latest threads. Luckily I didn’t succumb to any impulse buys. Went to shisha afterwards. Usual spot at Springvale, bumped into Syafiq and his Rowville posse there and after about an hour of that went to Springy macca’s where we bumped into Aaron and Timmy and later on Ben. So yeah bumped into some friendly faces that day. Was buggerd by the end of it. Got home at around 12:30 but didn’t go to bed until about an hour later (stupid facebook! >.<”).
Saturday was a pretty dead day. Mum and sister got out of the house by midday (dads in Singapore atmo) so had the house to myself. I’m pretty sure I was on the computer all day and didn’t get upto anything productive (not that I can recall anyway). Actually I distinctively remember getting out of my room after god knows how many hours and everything was just dark. Turned on the lights, closed the blinds. Later on made myself some dinner; Alfredo Pasta. Turned out alright. Edible to say the least and I guess that’s all that mattered at that time. Jumped into bed by 12 cause I had work the next day. Was my first shift in 3 weeks. Twas nice to see Huey and Weelock after so long. Didn’t realize how much I missed work. We went to Moorabin that day and ended up making roughly 7 grand worth of sales. It was practically dead the whole day until about 3:30, when all the geeks with Rudds stimulus package in their pockets rocked up for some impulse computer peripheral splurges.
And that brings us to Monday and Tuesday which could be dummed down to sleeping, asian drama whoring, reformating dee’s laptop (you fkn owe me woman!) and some more sleeping. When I say asian drama, I’m referring to movies and not your standard 12/16/21 episode drama because I seriously don’t have time for marathons these days (wish I did tho). “Eonniga Ganda” also known as “Project Make Over“ was pretty cute. It’s about a fashion designers assistant who can’t comprehend what her lifes turned into. Gets drunk one night and makes a wish on her dead mother and somehow goes back in time in her old body to meet her younger self. I know that description might sound abit cornier and cliché but the movie was good. Definitely gets my recommendation, and the other one was “A Moment To Remember” which kinda sounds like “A Walk To Remember” but don’t get me wrong that’s not why I watched it. lol I wasn’t anticipating a Korean version of its counterpart. It was acclaimed to be a tear jerker, but hardly got me there. It was moving to say the least. The movie follows the journey of a lady with Alzheimer's disease who falls in love and I know that kinda sounds like “50 first dates” but its not. No where near actually. The start was pretty sweet. Do watch both these movies if you have time and let me know what you think. I linked up the first part of both movies for yous.
